Basic Requirements for Employment

To ensure the safety, quality, and compliance of our services, all applicants must meet the following requirements before starting employment with VEMA:

​

  • Article 9 Certification

  • Prevention & Support Training

  • CPR & First Aid Certification

  • Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (active and in good standing)

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Second Form of Identification (Social Security Card, Green Card, etc.)

  • Negative TB Test (within the last 12 months)

  • 39-Month Driving Record (clean and insurable)

  • Abuse & Neglect Training
